The Beach House

Great view over the river.

Place to avoid. This is just a tourist trap that dines out on its one and only asset; the view. Overlooking the Hastings River, it is in an excellent location. But when you put this up against very expensive mediocre food and ordinary service, there really isn't much going for it ($24 for a barely edible Chicken Caesar Salad!). Reasonable range of beers but, you guessed it, expensive. Some evenings there is live music.

Expensive. Food not that good.
Location
10 minute walk from the marina.
