We have a list of jobs that need doing before, or shortly into, the trip. There is a vague schedule but it is a matter of doing as much as possible in the time we have. A lot of thought has gone into bringing the parts and tools we need because the car goes back tomorrow and this marina is fairly isolated.
First job was to prep the dingy. If the boat is our house, this is the car. Unfortunately, it is also nickable - both the dinghy and the outboard. I chained and locked the motor to the dinghy and fitted a lockable cable for tying the whole shebang to a dock / tree / etc.

Jacklines ridge the gap between bits of deck hardware that a harness can be attached to - the aim being to allow me to move around the deck at sea without falling off. We are using webbing that climbers use. I've got them from each side-deck to the mast, and then on to the forestay.

I then made a start on the deck netting but more on that tomorrow.
