We're leaving the marina tomorrow so it's the last day of preparation. Main job today was to tackle some of the things the survey came up with. This needed a bit of interpretation - some of the points were actually not there, but I went over some of the issues. This was mainly double-clamping certain hoses; the fuel line and some of the through-hulls. I'm happy we covered most of them.
Biggest snag today was when I went to get a new cereal packet. That bloody mouse got there first. It's clearly still on the boat. I sat the cats down and explained to them that we all have our jobs to do and we're a little short of bait for the crab pot if, say, certain members of the crew were not pulling their weight. Anyway, Barry & Jennifer dropped in (with cake!) and they were kind enough to get us a mousetrap. It's primed and in the hole. I'm now waiting for the 'snap'. Soon, I hope.
Just washing / drying the sheets so that we start the trip with them nice and clean. We'll probably eat at the Ramada tonight for tomorrow we're off. Yes!
