Day 55: Mackay Marina

Calibrated the port water tank sight glass. This is a vertical transparent tube that indicates the level of liquid in the tank. The tank, however, doesn't have an uniform profile so there is no linear relationship between level and volume. I bought a 5l water container and used that to mark the tube every additional 10l of water. This is now permanently marked with coloured cable ties.

Pearl stakes out a place in the dinghy on a sunny day.

Topped off the fuel tanks from the spare cans - need to cycle that. Gave it a good dose of Fuel Doctor.
Dropped into the marina office and our new battery monitor had been delivered. I'll see about installing that as soon as I can.

Marinas will happily receive parcels for yachties.

Went back to the medical centre for Kim to get a prescription and fill it. Good for 6 weeks now.
