Day 62: Cid Harbour

We've been here a couple of nights so it's time to move on. Problem is, there are strong SE winds predicted for the next 3 or 4 days so we need somewhere to tuck in. We chose Cid Harbour because it is an all-weather anchorage and there is a reasonable chance of signal.

Upped anchor around 10am and, blow me down, it behaved itself. Stern words must have done the trick. That or the main shaft finally got some overdue grease. Back to monitoring this. It would be great if it took us back to Port Mac where I can give it a full service.

Came up the pretty way through Hamilton Island and joined a couple of dozen other boats sitting out the weather. In sure there will be more to come.

We'll be here for a few days so I might be able to get some of the remaining jobs knocked off.
