Day 59: Thomas Island

So much for the forecast. The prediction was virtually no wind and virtually no swell. Throughout the night, short choppy waves ran through the anchorage making for a very rocky night. We got up at dawn and bailed.

Had a great run to Thomas Island. We chose the anchorage on the SE part of the island which promises to be quiet in N & NW winds. When we go there, there were 4 monos already anchored so we did a cheeky glide right through them and anchored in 4m between the reefs.

Our neighbours.
This is a lovely spot. We went ashore for a swim and chilled out for the rest of the day. We'll probably stay for a couple of nights.

Moonrise.
