Day 30: Burnett Heads

Up early for the grog run. Got a couple of fittings along the way but booze was the target.

Another port, another chandlery.

Grog on the hoof.

Once that was on board we went back to the shops for the perishables. We don't expect to see shops for about 3 weeks.

Our next stop is Pancake Creek - 60nm or 12hours. This means taking off at 4am, planning on an average speed of 5 knots, to arrive before dark. We moved back to Burnett Heads on the outgoing tide ready to take off in the morning.

Sea Change against a sugar cane fire background.

The Burnett Heads post office had let us know that Kim's vacuum cleaner part had arrived so I went and got that.

Moonrise over Burnett Heads.

Now a plumbing issue. We have been running from the starboard fresh water tank and it emptied. I switched to the port tank but it just wouldn't prime. These can be a pain to sort out. Another day.

The girls taking an evening stroll.

Early to bed for an early start.
